As stated earlier, Nike announced that 1500 pairs of this shoe will be auctioned on eBay, nikemag.eBay.com, with all net proceeds going directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The auction will begin tonight and end on September 18. The Nike Air Mag has been anticipated for the longest as it first showed its face in the 1989

Leading up to the release of the Nike Air Mag, a 50 million match grant was given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation by Sergey Brin and Anne Wojcicki; they will match all donations to the foundation, up to 50 million dollars, through the end of 2012. "
